Skarpa, a specialist in sales of businesses with a transaction value of between 2and 30 million euros.
Skarpa is a well established and experienced M & A advisor in company sales and company valuations. We work with both private and industrial company owners all over Scandinavia. The sale of a company with a value in the range 2 to 30 million euros requires in-depth knowledge of the operational reality that the company and the owners are facing, as well as specialist knowledge in business and finance. At Skarpa, we are convinced that if you focus, you will become expert at what you do. Therefore, we have chosen to work exclusively with companies in this range. Skarpa’s success has been built on our specific expertise in M & A; therefore, we do this and nothing else. Skarpa’s methodology is suited for all industries and therefore a client company’s line of business, is of lesser importance.
Skarpa’s M & A methodology – what makes us different from other advisors?
Success is not an accident. We believe that you can repeat successes by following a well developed and tested methodology. Both seller and buyer will then feel comfortable and all parties dare look ahead and see the common possibilities. The key to Skarpa’s success lies in the fact that we have chosen to work according to our own, clearly defined transaction process. The basic steps are the same in each sale and together with the seller, we customize the different elements so that they fit perfectly for the particular case. Skarpa’s clearly defined methodology will help the seller get the best possible price for his or her company, by creating a good bidding process with several candidate buyers, where the seller, not the buyer, controls the process. By being straight and clear throughout the whole process, the risk of value loss, which often occurs between bidding and final contract, is minimized. The assignment leader manages the project to a successful conclusion, utilizing both skills and a feel for the process. Selling a company of this size is not done only by playing your network – it requires a well-planned process and solid project management skills to enable a successful transfer of ownership.
Skarpa will only charge if the sale is brought to a successful close.
At Skarpa, we are so convinced that our method works, that we will only charge after we have successfully concluded a sale. If we fail, it costs nothing. The fee, which usually is related to the purchase price, will normally also include all business costs and legal fees.
